8. Private colleges and universities should establish own innovative platforms
to serve the society, accumulate reputations and financial revenue.
V. Protecting the Rights and Interests of Students,
Faculty, and Staff
1. Private colleges and universities should properly allocate faculty members
and students according to the process of withdrawal, not to close the
institutions without warning.
2. To understand students’ willingness and arrange them to graduate at
withdrawal colleges and universities as much as possible, and to ensure
students’ qualities for learning at school and satisfy their learning needs
as first priority.
3. To accurately check the effect of faculty members’ allocation at other
employments outside of previous colleges and universities.
4. The faculty member allocation funds should be established for those
from withdrawal colleges and universities to ensure them to acquire
transfer trainings.
5. The severance payment for faculty members should be given according to
Labor Standard Act.
6.For those faculty members whose research specialty fit well with certain
research positions at government departments, the positions should be
provided for faculty members play value-added roles during their
transitions to next employments.
7. Faculty members should be directed to teach in Southeast Asia as
